About Valerie
Valerie Cotter is a native of Limerick city. She began her legal career in the Office for the Chief State Solicitor for Co. Tipperary. She later opened her own practice at Croke Street in Thurles in 2002, and then moved to Thomastown in 2009, following her marriage to local farmer, Dan Bolger.
Valerie has retained many clients from Co. Tipperary, particularly commercial clients, since her move. She has also established successful relationships with many new clients seeking solicitor services in Co. Kilkenny.
She regularly appears on behalf of clients at District Court, Circuit Court, and High Court levels. She is vastly experienced in all aspects of her practice.
Outside of work, Valerie is an enthusiastic sports fan. She is a dedicated follower of the Limerick hurling team, and of her home club, Na Piarsaigh. Also, being from Limerick city, she is a major supporter of the Munster rubgy team. Both she and her husband also follow horse racing and regularly attend meetings across the south-east and further afield.
